Zen-Wu Block Plane

After many iterations and patent fillings, our block plane is finally open to pre-order at a early-supporter's discount, first batch ships March 1st. 

Zen-Wu Block Plane features titanium alloy for all metal parts except the cutting edge steel and wood cover. Titanium brings several advantages to a hand plane: it won't rust, it does not bite your hand in a cold shop, and its natural dampening properties reduce cutting harmonics for a cleaner shave (to the same level as our Japanese planes). At roughly 60% the density of steel, the body is noticeably lighter without sacrificing rigidity or durability.

The mechanism is simplified from the traditional Norris-style adjuster—fewer parts, same effective depth and lateral control. Built to last generations.
