Our Y-2 Western Chisel, made with Zen-Wu white-paper carbon steel (ZW-C2), is truly the western bench chisels for every woodworker. With a classic design and with dead flat bevels and backs, it features edge retention and toughness surpassing all carbon steel chisels we have tested, matching popular CPM steels. Blade length 130mm, handle length 140mm, total length 270mm.
Flat and ready to shave out of the box, 30° cutting angle without secondary bevel.

1/10/2026 UPDATE: Due to overwhelming enthusiasm sparked by Christopher Schwarz's review on Y-2 chisel, we are regret to say that all individual sizes are currently out of stock, and the sets moving fast. In light of this demand, we started a new batch but will not be ready until after the Spring Festival in March. There are many steps to process iron into a chisel, therefore we appreciate your patience in the meantime.
