D-1はバット鑿です。頭部が短く、柄も短い。鑿が短いほど、手は刃先に近づき、手や木槌からの力がより直接的に切削に伝わります。
Y-2と同じ鋼材です。ZW-C2白紙炭素鋼、複数回のサブゼロ処理、64 HRC。切刃と裏は平らに仕上げられ、30°で即使用可能な状態に研がれています。刃長3-1/2インチ（89mm）、柄長3-1/16インチ（78mm）、全長6-9/16インチ（167mm）。
柄はN-1と同様の短い形状で、古木由来のred ring-cupped oakの再利用材を使用しています。
幅は1/2インチ、1インチ、2インチの3種類。2インチは標準的な西洋鑿にはない幅で、蝶番の加工や広い面の突き削りに便利です。単品または3本セットで販売しています。
通常2〜4日以内に武漢の工房から発送します。DHLの輸送日数は3〜5日です（配送ポリシー）。
