A two-stone diamond sharpening set plus a double-sided strop — enough to take an edge from dulled to mirror in about thirty seconds.
- 400 grit (40 μm) diamond stone for initial bevel setting and re-sharpening
- 1000 grit (10 μm) diamond stone for refinement
- Double-sided strop: one side compound-infused (1 μm) for polishing, one side bare kangaroo leather for a final clean touch. No compound rubbing or reloading.
- Non-slip pad underneath
Dimensions: 210 × 76 × 12 mm. Lubricate with a light spray of water or glass cleaner.
Also available separately: Extra-Durable Coarse Diamond Stone (200 grit) for tool repairs and flattening water stones. 12μm flatness tolerance. Available in gold or black. Our oldest 200-grit stone at the factory has flattened more than twelve water stones (from full thickness down to zero) and is still at work.
A note on appearance: the silver-colored layer on the stones is cosmetic. Scratches or flaking on this surface do not affect the diamonds, which are embedded in the brass substrate beneath.
