Zen-Wu Diamond Stone

The diamond sharpening set comes with a 400 grit (40 micron) stone, a 1000 grit (10 micron) stone and a double-sided strop. One side of the strop has an innovative (1 micron) compound-infused design, and the other side features a compound free kangaroo leather strop for final touch. No compound rubbing ever needed. The diamond stones come with a non-skip pad.

For lubrication, spray small amount of water (or glass cleaner).

Our Extra-Durable Coarse Diamond Stone (200 grit) can be used for tool repairs and flattening water stones. The main surface features a extremely durable 200 grit diamond matrix. 12µm (< 0.5 thou) flatness tolerance. Comes in golden and black colors.

Fun fact, our oldest 200 grit stone have gone over more than 12 water stones (from full thickness down to zero) and is still being used to flatten water stones at our factory.

UPDATE: the silver-colored layer on the stones are purely cosmetic, if it falls off or scratched, it does not affect the diamonds, which are embedded in the brass substrate underneath.
