A strop usually means leather and a bar of compound to keep rubbing on. Here the polishing side is a porous polymer pad with 1 μm abrasive running all the way through: as the surface wears, fresh abrasive is exposed, and the cut stays the same. Nothing to reload. The bare kangaroo leather side cleans the edge between sharpenings.
Takes an already-sharpened edge to mirror polish in seconds. Use dry. No water. Dimensions: 8-1/4" × 3" × 1/2" (210 × 76 × 12mm). Aluminum body, black anodized. The gold-anodized finish is on final stock and will not be made again.
