D-1 是一把欧式短凿：刀身短，柄也短。刀身越短，手离刃口越近，力传导也越直接。

钢材沿用 Y-2：ZW-C2 白纸碳钢，多次深冷处理，64 HRC。刃面和刀背研磨平整，30° 出厂开刃，开箱即开刃。刀身 89mm，柄 78mm，总长 167mm。

柄沿用 N-1 中式凿：老料红椆木。

三个尺寸：1/2"、1"、2"。2" 比常规西式平凿都要宽，可用于合页和大面板修整。可单只购买，也有三件套。
