Zen-Wu Diamond Flattening Stone

A pair of diamond flattening stones for keeping waterstones true. Both share the same 200-grit matrix on a milled aluminum base, chamfered on all edges, with a non-slip pad underneath.

• 8-1/4" × 3" × 1/2" (210 × 76 × 12mm). Sits next to the sharpening station for quick passes between work.
• 11-13/16" × 3-3/8" × 13/16" (300 × 85 × 20mm) extra large. The bench plate. Big enough for any waterstone you are likely to use, with stock to flatten dozens of stones from full thickness down to zero.

Twelve-micron flatness tolerance, well under the half-thou mark. Aluminum base milled on six sides. Lubricate with a light spray of water or glass cleaner.

Our oldest 200-grit stone at the factory has flattened more than twelve waterstones (full thickness down to zero) and is still at work.
