Zen-Wu Plane Blade (for metallic planes)

Replacement plane blades for Bailey- and Stanley-style bench planes. Compatible with most #3-#8 sizes from Lie-Nielsen, Veritas (standard line only, not the custom line), WoodRiver, Clifton, Quangsheng, Luban, Dictum, and older Stanley planes (which may need minor mouth filing to accommodate the thicker blade).

Two edge steels, both well ahead of standard bench plane steels like PMV11 or O1 in edge retention and toughness. ZW-V0 runs harder and holds up better on tropical or Australian hardwoods where edge retention is the priority. CPM Magnacut trades a little hardness for stainless corrosion resistance, better suited to humid shops and green woodworking.

ZW-V0 (4.3mm blade) comes in two bodies:

• ZW-V0 (titanium): laminated into a titanium alloy body with a 3.0mm titanium chipbreaker. Titanium damps vibration, flattens easily on the stone, and does not rust.
• ZW-V0 (soft iron): laminated into soft iron with a 2.7mm stainless chipbreaker. The original build, offered while current stock lasts.

CPM Magnacut / ZW-V2 (4.0mm blade) is laminated into a titanium alloy body with a 3.0mm titanium chipbreaker. Magnacut is itself stainless, so the blade resists rust end to end.

Every blade is flat, razor-sharp, and ready to use. Each comes with a titanium screwdriver and an extra compatibility slider.
